If you are a casual rider, but would like to ride with the club, and be covered by some insurance when you are on the bike, you may want to consider a Ride It licence, through Cycling Queensland.  Below are the non-competitive memberships available through Cycling Queensland.

A non-competitive membership for those 19 and over.

If most of your riding involves trails, then affiliating with MTBA for your recreational licence will help support the sport, and contribue to trail development and maintenance.
